The Bighorn River hosts some of the finest trout fishing in North America. It’s a tail water fishery and the regulated flow maintains clean, clear, cold water, rich insect life, and it fishes well year-round. Whether you are a seasoned fisherman or a novice, we will tailor the day to suit the experience you are looking for, with a guide that is excited to have fun and show you a good time.
Although we can’t predict exactly what the fishing will be like on any given day, we take what the river gives us and fish to current conditions, whether its dry flies, streamers, nymphing or a combination of the three. If you are interested in a specific fly-fishing technique, let us know and we can suggest times of year that will be best for that type of fishing.
Guided Fly-Fishing Day Trip on the Bighorn River
While we do some fishing from the drift boat, we feel that the most authentic fly-fishing experiences occur out of the boat and we like to get our clients feet wet and into the river to experience the thrill of catching fish while wading.
$525 for one to two people. Includes: Guide, transportation, rods, flies, terminal tackle, and lunch. Trips available year round
